The Timeline picks up when Lea moves to LA for the Les Miz concert. Lea decided to go to LA for a short time to do Les Miz and audition for shows in LA, she was hoping to get a guest spot or two on some tv shows just to boost her resume.

Lea dates Tony winner John Lloyd Young who also co-starred with Lea in the Hollywood Bowl production of Les Miz.
John will also appear in the third episode of glee called “Accafellas” as Henri the shop teacher with no thumbs. Lea’s Rachel Berry and John’s Henri have no scenes together.
Lea and John seem to breakup before May of 2009.

Lea auditions for a glee. Before one of her auditions she has a car crush, but rushes to the audition anyway. She had cuts and glass still in her hair as she auditions. Another audition the piano player skips part of the song and they laugh during a serious scene. Lea also slaps the casting director during a scene. Lea thinks the audition goes badly, but little did she know she was doing a lot of things that were and would be Rachel Berry.

On Sept 2, 2008 Lea was offered the role of Rachel Berry. Lea is the first person cast.
Ryan Murphy has said that he had Lea in mind when he wrote the part. He met Lea in Nov 2007.
Ian Brennan Co-creator and writer said“.I think the lynchpin for the casting process for us was the role of Rachel. I think if we hadn’t gotten that part right we wouldn’t have had a show”.
Ian’s take on Rachel:
Rachel is all ego, an fantastic little fireball of a starlet. She is spectacularly talented but utterly tone deaf to how she comes across to people. That is where her charm lies.
Lea has just turned 22.

Glee Live Concert 2011. Lea sings Don’t Stop Believing, Sing, Firework, Happy Days, Loser Like Me, Somebody to Love and sometimes Don’t Rain on my Parade in the second glee concert tour. This tour is 4 x bigger than the first going to 22 cites and doing over 40 concerts. The cast performs to over 500,000 people.
Lea once again gets great reviews. Many noting her stage presence, strong clear voice and obvious experience in performing Live.

In news worse than a Slushie to the face it is confirmed that season three will be the last one for Lea. Rachel Berry will graduate. Fans are not happy to hear this plus Chris Colfer and Cory Montieth are also going.
* ETA-July 24, 2011: Producer Brad Falcuck announces at Comic that Lea, Cory and Chris will graduate, but that does not mean they are leaving the show. Season 4 for Lea is a possibility.

Lea is the first glee cast member to reach 1 million followers on Twitter.
In May 2010 Jared of Just Jared told Lea in a interview she didn’t tweet enough. Lea had thought she tweeted plenty. Since then she has tweeted a considerable amount more and much more consistently.
Now she has over 1 million followers and has tweeted over 1,050 times.

After roughly two years of dating, Lea and Theo Stockman officially end their relationship.
“This is not a dramatic breakup, the relationship just ran its course,” her rep told E! Online. “They are still friends and will always be friends.”

Day 1
Through no fault of her own Lea is thrust into some odd feud between E! Fashion Police and their guest Sarah Hyland a actress.
1. Fashion Police discuss a Lea outfit - they do not like it much. Sarah however does say that Lea’s ass looks great in the dress.
2. They discuss Lea’s posing for the Red Carpet.
3. Joan Rivers the host of Fashion Police ask Sarah if she can imitate one of the poses Lea does which Sarah happily does.
4. Sarah finished the imitation and says she thinks it is strange and she felt awkward waiting in line after Lea on the red carpet.
Note: Fashion Police is meant to discuss celebrity Fashion but in a humorous way but often blunt way too by the host and guest.
Day 2.
1. Some over zealous fans of Lea’s take offense to the imitation and/or the comments by Sarah so they take to twitter and begin sending Sarah tweets some of which are not kind and some downright rude.
2. Sarah decides to address the numerous tweets. Sarah says it was all just joking also saying she will not apologize and she is not jealous of Lea becasue she is happy with her life. She directly addresses fans assertion she was only “mocking” Lea because she was jeolous.
3. Sarah also says she will address this more at the Emmys the next day. Later Sarah tweets Lea wanting to “talk”.
4. Sarah tweets only seems to bother the fans more.
5. Lea at this point it seems has chosen to ignore this whole situation.
Day 3 - The Emmys
1. Sarah and Giuliani Ranica correspondent of E! and a Fashion Police guest as well discusses this situation with Sarah at the Emmys live to a huge audience. Sarah explains she was only joking and meant no harm. She also says Lea knows how to work the red carpet and it is strange to her becasue she is not that comfortable with it.
2. Later Lea shows up on the red carpet to pose for pictures. . E! cameras cut to Lea and G.Ranic and Kelly Osbourn another person with Fashion Police do a play by play of Lea poses on the red carpet, both complimenting her. Ranic says “she is the best poser she has ever seen on the red carpet” and Kelly says she “needs to have Lea give her lessons”.
3. Lea still has not said one word about this “feud” and she is not asked when she talks to E!.
Day 4.
1. E! News specially G Ranic names Lea on of their best dress list.
2. A special Fashion Police airs for Emmys Fashion. Joan Rivers again brings up the situation and goes on to say Lea has a huge ego and that she thinks her shit don’t sink in reference to an old joke about a cow.
3. Next the commentators made comments about her dress and were so so on it saying what could have made the look better.
4. Later back to the issue again Joan makes some joke about Sarah finding a severed horse’s head in her bed. Kelly says “if you can’t joke about yourself you are in the wrong business” which everyone applauded.
5. Once again Lea has not commented one way or another she choose to ignore it yet she is now getting called out for not having a sense of humor about herself. They haven’t spoken to Lea, she hasn’t spoken about it so not sure how they know what she is thinking.

I think about 12. But theyre all very very very little. I have a butterfly with my mom that we got together. This heart on my finger that I got with [my] cousins, that Im actually in the process of removing, cause it didnt take well to the red.

Im reading Chris Colfers book right nowhes on my show. I literally praise the ground he walks on. I think hes the greatest thing since sliced bread, so even if I didnt like it, I would read it a hundred times. But I think its so smart, I cant wait for all of the other ones to come out.
On her style
Im very simple with clothes and I dont like to wear a lot of makeup. I really feel like Im the only girl who will do a photo shoot and want to take all the hair and makeup off. Cause I like to let my skin breathe and you know, Im pretty minimal in my wardrobe. Ill do a little shop, stock up on some things, and thats it. I mean, when I go to do events and stuff like that, I definitely feel I can bump it up. I have an amazing stylist, Estee Stanley, who is so wonderful. She always makes me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my own skin, and the dresses are just, like, extra points.
On Cory
Canada makes some great dudes, and hes definitely one of them - just the nicest, sweetest guy in the world. I’m very lucky

On her boyfriend Cory Monteith: “I don’t even remember a time when he wasn’t my boyfriend. No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it’s been like to go through this more than he does. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther. He makes me feel like I can do anything. For the first time in my life, I feel really, really settled and happy. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
On diva rumors: “I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes be uncomfortable, but that’s as far as it goes. I can assure you that [diva rumors] aren’t real. It’s super-frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, You can think what you want to think about me – that’s OK. I have the most amazing fans, friends, and family members who have stood by me, and I know that my cast and crew really enjoy working with me. That’s all that matters.”
On her breasts: ““These babies are great. They are my prizewinners. For a while they were out and about, showing off on Broadway every night, then they came to L.A. and were like, ‘No one else looks like me here!’ They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place. So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.”
