Tired of magazines and news/entertainment site acting like any time Lea does a “racy” photo-shoot it is brand new and never done before.
First for this photographer the V shoot was hardly racy at all.
But anyway it is annoying. “Lea sheds her good girl look”. Lea has always been open in her style of dress.
KURT: I’ll be performing the seminal, and in my case, semi-autobiographical Broadway classic “I am the Greatest Star” from Funny Girl.
BEISTE: Isn’t that a Streisand song?
KURT: I know what you’re thinking, but I got written permission from the woman herself - Ms. Rachel Berry
Diva - Frenemies - in the glee world maybe 3/4 months?
God forbid they let the lesson stick for Rachel.
NY has so much potential too bad glee writers don’t.
THR: Was it an intentional decision not to do the proposed spinoff and instead fuse both New York and Lima story lines into season four?
Ian Brennan: It all goes back to us having said in the pilot that Rachel was a sophomore. We set the seed for her graduating in three years, and at the time, when you’re writing a pilot, you’re not thinking four years ahead. It was around season two once we knew that the show was working, that we were going to have to deal with this at some point. There was talk of a spinoff, but then it seemed better to incorporate it into the show, particularly because we spent so much time. So much of the show is about telling high schoolers to follow their dreams — you actually wanted to see your main character go through with it and be the big fish in a small pond to be a big fish in the biggest pond ever: New York City. It seemed like that was what we owed the audience.

Fun Fact: the first solo Mr Shue gave Rachel outright was episode 9 Wheels. She later had to compete to keep it.
Yes Tina got a solo offered to her before Rachel ever did. Finn got Gold Digger offered to him as did Mercedes. Finn/Puck/boys all had Bust a Move offered to them before Rachel got offered a solo. Mr Shue gave Artie got a solo with sit down your rocking the boat.
